Concept/
“Self Merging” is my visual meditation on the instability and multiple construction of the self. Against a crimson ground, a self-woven body is constantly breaking apart and reassembling, caught in a state of perpetual flux and reshaping.
Across the surface, black “automatic writing” lines generate faces and bodily fragments that resemble organic entities. They twist and tangle without rest, like emotions, memories, and desires in the subconscious that have not yet been integrated. What appears is a field where external emotional pressures and an inner, fragile core are locked in a pull, attempting to reorganize the unconscious from within.
This work is not simply about “merging,” but about an existence that is continually torn, regenerated, and collaged. As viewers engage with the painting, they are not merely observing this cycle from the outside; they become one of its recomposing elements. In that moment, their own inner loop is activated—quietly prompting the questions: “Who am I now?” and “Where am I going from here?”

《Self Merging》は、「自己」という状態の不安定さと、多重に組み上げられていく在り方についての、私なりの視覚的な瞑想である。深い緋色の下地のうえで、自らを織り成す身体は、絶えず断片化され、再びつなぎ合わされながら、流動と再塑造のあいだを揺れ続けている。
画面上を走る黒い「自動書記」の線は、有機体のような顔や身体の形象を立ち上げていく。それらは休むことなく互いに絡み合い、まだ統合されていない感情や記憶、欲望のように、潜在意識の層でうごめき続ける。そこに現れているのは、外側から押し寄せる感情と、内側でそれに応答しようとする自己とのあいだの引き合いであり、内側から無意識そのものを組み替えていこうとする過程でもある。
この作品が描いているのは、単なる「融合」ではない。引き裂かれ、再生され、コラージュされ続けるような存在の状態そのものだ。鑑賞者は、その循環を外側から眺めているだけではない。作品と向き合うことで、すでにその再構成のプロセスの一部となり、自身の内部にも新たな循環が起動する。「いまの私は何者なのか」「これからどこへ向かっていくのか」という問いが、静かにせり上がってくるのである。

《Self Merging》是我對「自我」狀態不穩定性與多重組構的視覺冥想。緋紅色的基底色調，自我交織的身體在不停地斷裂重組，處於一種流動與重塑之間。
畫面中「自動書寫」的黑線筆觸構築出有機體般的臉孔與形體，它們不消停的不斷互相糾纏，如同潛意識中尚未被整合的情緒、記憶與慾望，呈現的是外來的情緒與內在正在相互拉扯，試著要重組潛意識的過程。
這幅畫描繪的不只是「融合」，而是一種不停被撕裂、再生、拼貼的存在狀態。觀賞者觀看的同時，不只進入了這個循環，直接成為重組元素的一部份，也同時啟動了自己的自我重組循環，內在開始思考「我是誰？」，「我該往哪裡去？」
