Every Taiwanese has been a part of the religious parade either as a member of the procession or as a devout observer. Participants in the procession need to colour their faces with various patterns and wear specific costumes because they play the roles of the messengers who served the God. According to the impression of the Taiwanese religious parade, all of the stimuli and messages I have received then transferred into various symbols and patterns displaying in the painting.
